memories

As you can tell, I am so bad at this blogging business. I've been making more of an effort to journal and log my daily activities. This is such a new and exciting time in my life that I really hope to remember even in my old age.

I've recently been really inspired by something that I saw on pinterest. (I seriously love pinterest and cannot get enough of it!) This DIY really stood out to me because it was actually doable with the resources I have lying around. This is such a neat little calendar system them helps you remember something special about each day. There are 10 lines on an index card so you can have 10 years of memories on a small stack on cards!

Mine does not look as cool yet :P I still haven't written the dates on mine (waiting to buy a cheap date stamp) I really hope I can remember to log one interesting aspect of my day. I am a graduate student right now so my life is not as exciting as could be but each day is STILL meaningful :) A motivation to actually do this would be so that my children and I can sit down and look through my memories as a young, single woman living in Boston. How cool would that be?

my best friend jessica got engaged in march! and... she asked me to be her maid of honor! i am so super excited to be her right hand woman and help her in planning this wedding. i really hope that even though i'll be far away, i can still be a good helper.

i've been done with school for a week now so i've been spending time working and researching stuff mainly for bridal showers!
