my best friend jessica got engaged in march! and... she asked me to be her maid of honor! i am so super excited to be her right hand woman and help her in planning this wedding. i really hope that even though i'll be far away, i can still be a good helper.

i've been done with school for a week now so i've been spending time working and researching stuff mainly for bridal showers!

There is exactly 1 week left before I graduate from college! I can't believe that I started this blog as a freshman in college and 4 years has already passed. The past 4 years has truly been such an incredible blessing from God. I've been so blessed with a great community & friends here in Amherst. God has used this time in college to grow me and stretch me in my faith. I've also had the privilege of witnessing so much growth in the younger brothers and sisters around me. I know I'll definitely miss college but I know at the same time that God is maturing me to become a "real" adult now. I'm going to move back home in New Jersey and work for NJ Family Counseling Center as a social worker. I'm excited, sad, anxious, happy, nervous, and scared all at the same time. Although I'm feeling all these mixed emotions, I know that God is going to take great care of me :) I'm excited to see what my life will look like in another 4 years. I'm trying really hard to be open to what God has planned for me in the future!

i'm back again with the attempt to be more consistent with my blogging :)

i cannot believe that it is already august! i remember being home for a week in may thinking that summer was going to be SO long. as always, and without a surprise, time continues to fly.

i've returned to work full time for my second summer at new christian academy. i've been teaching a class of thirteen 1st and 2nd graders. as always, teaching has been a challenge as well as a joy. summer school started on july 6th and will end on august 24th. this position has been more of a blessing to me than anything. with my first paycheck, i took the first step to pay off my tuition! although it hurt to see all my hard earned money disappear in an instant, it felt really good to help my mom out in this small way.

it's really amazing to see how God has truly been providing in every aspect of my life. i know for a fact that i don't deserve any of this but it is truly the LOVE and GRACE of God :)

i cannot believe the fact that i. am. going. to. be. a. senior. it's really insane that i was a little freshman just 3 years ago... feels like it was really yesterday. i can't believe that my undergraduate career at umass will be over in exactly 1 year. it's so scary and funny how time flies. i'm really going to miss college life so much. i really love having such a close knit community at school. i love being able to walk up the stairs to see friends, crossing the street to see my boyfriend, and sharing countless meals at the dining commons with friends. i'm really going to try to savor each moment of senior year by doing well academically and having TONS of fun everyday :)

although i've been working lots i've been able to play a good amount too! :) i got to visit wildwood twice!
